Writing a funeral ceremony eulogy
Being asked to speak at a loved one’s funeral can feel like one of life’s great honours, but writing a funeral ceremony eulogy, putting your feelings on paper, is often very difficult while experiencing your own emotional upheaval. I can help you do your much loved family member or friend proud on the day.
As an experienced professional, I’m used to capturing, harnessing and celebrating emotion in a sensitive and appropriate way, writing with the words you’ve given me.
I would ask thoughtful questions, listening carefully, making intuitive suggestions and skilfully shaping your words so we capture all your loved one meant to you.
500+ testimonials confirm how much this remarkable process can come to mean to clients on an emotional level, making seemingly insurmountable tasks more manageable too.
‘I just wanted to thank you. You did a remarkable job. Listening to the eulogy you wrote brought back so many happy memories of Phil, it was a fantastic tribute. You gave him the best send off ever. Forever grateful.’

A bespoke eulogy will sit beautifully in any service, secular or religious, whether involving a crematorium, church or natural location, with one speaker or shared.
I might only use your words or we may choose a more collective effort, with different contributions from family and/or friends, interwoven in one voice.
Eulogies are priced individually according to length and number of contributors, but ~£160 (1,000 words/one) – ~£280 (1,000 words/multiple) offers a reliable introduction.
Whatever our approach, together we’ll create text in character, touching and true to life, enabling you to pay fitting tribute in just the right way.
